BIGEQ Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 5, 2026 | Last updated: October 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BIGEQ, LLC ("BIGEQ," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you use BIGEQ.com, the BIGEQ Horse Sales mobile application, our emails, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). It also describes privacy choices and rights that may apply to you.
1. Scope and who is responsible
BIGEQ, LLC is responsible for the personal information covered by this Policy. This Policy applies when you visit or use the Services or communicate with BIGEQ.
This Policy does not cover independent third parties when they process information for their own purposes. Their privacy notices apply to those activities.
2. Personal information we collect
The information BIGEQ collects depends on how you use the Services.
A. Account and profile information
We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, password or authentication data, address or general location, account type, email-verification status, communication preferences, and other information you add to your account.
BIGEQ may also keep records showing which versions of the Terms of Use you accepted and the Privacy Policy you acknowledged, including the date, time, and related technical information.
B. Listings, drafts, and other content
We collect information you submit for horse, pony, barn, service, stud, lease, or other permitted listings. This may include descriptions, prices, location, contact details, photographs, video links, show or performance information, and supporting information. BIGEQ may save an in-progress draft and your edits so you can continue creating a listing. BIGEQ may also retain publication status, reports received about a listing, actions taken in response, and listing history.
Published listing content is public and may be viewed, indexed, cached, copied, or shared outside BIGEQ. Direct contact details are shown only to users permitted to use the applicable contact feature. Some seller identity and location information may also be public. Our Terms prohibit certain scraping, republication, and misuse, but we cannot guarantee that every third party will comply.
C. Messages, inquiries, reports, and support
We collect messages and inquiries sent through the Services, including the sender, recipient, listing, contact information, message content, date and time, and information needed to deliver and manage the message. BIGEQ may temporarily save an unsent inquiry while an email address is being verified.
If you report a user, listing, message, fraud concern, intellectual-property concern, or safety issue, we collect the report, explanation, supporting material, and records of any action BIGEQ takes in response. We also collect communications with customer support.
The intended recipient receives the sender information and message content needed to respond. Recipients may independently retain, copy, or disclose messages after receiving them.
D. Activity, device, and technical information
BIGEQ and its service providers may collect an IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages or screens viewed, searches, timestamps, session information, crash and diagnostic information, and security events.
When you save a favorite or create a saved search, BIGEQ stores the information needed to keep that feature available in your account.
E. Seller and contact analytics
Seller-facing reports show combined activity and do not identify individual visitors. BIGEQ may count activity such as listing views, searches, shares, favorites, and use of contact options or messages.
F. Payments, subscriptions, and payment methods
When you enter payment-card and billing information on BIGEQ, BIGEQ sends it to Authorize.Net to process your payment. BIGEQ may retain related payment records, such as provider identifiers, card type and masked card number, expiration and billing information, transaction and refund records, purchase and subscription history, consent records, and payment-method status.
BIGEQ uses this information to process payments, display and manage saved payment methods, provide receipts and transaction history, administer subscriptions, reconcile payment records, prevent abuse, and comply with legal and accounting requirements.
G. AI-assisted listing information
If you use an AI-assisted listing feature, BIGEQ collects the information you enter, the draft listing information produced or edited through the feature, the draft's status, and technical information about the processing.
BIGEQ may send the information you enter to OpenAI or another AI service provider to check completeness, identify listing details, and organize your draft. This processing may begin as you type.
Do not submit payment-card data, passwords or other credentials, confidential records, third-party personal information you lack authority to provide, or veterinary or other sensitive records that are unnecessary for the listing.
H. Mobile application and notifications
If you enable push notifications, BIGEQ may collect a device or push-notification identifier and delivery information. You can change notification permissions in your device settings.
Location-based searches use the city, state, postal code, country, or other location that you enter or select. BIGEQ does not use that feature to track your device's location.
I. Cookies, logs, analytics, and service providers
BIGEQ uses first-party cookies, local storage, server logs, and in-house analytics to keep users signed in, remember preferences, operate and secure the Services, count activity, diagnose problems, and understand performance.
BIGEQ also uses service providers for functions such as hosting and storage, content delivery, email, push notifications, security and fraud prevention, error monitoring, payment processing, AI-assisted features, and embedded video. These providers receive information needed to perform those functions and may use cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy notices.
Authorize.Net processes payment-card information as described above. When you use an AI-assisted listing feature, BIGEQ may send the information you enter to OpenAI as described above.
BIGEQ uses its own analytics to understand activity within the Services. We do not use that information to track your activity across unrelated websites. Third-party features, such as embedded videos or security tools, may collect information under their own privacy notices.
J. Surveys, feedback, and testimonials
If you participate in a survey or submit feedback, BIGEQ collects the information you provide and may associate it with your account or listing. If you submit a testimonial for publication, BIGEQ may display it with the name or attribution you provide.
3. How we use personal information
BIGEQ uses personal information to:
- provide and maintain the Services;
- create and administer accounts, listings, drafts, messages, searches, favorites, subscriptions, and payment methods;
- process payments, refunds, renewals, receipts, and account history;
- provide seller reports and measure how features perform;
- provide AI-assisted listing functions requested by the user;
- communicate about transactions, listings, inquiries, account changes, service announcements, support, and promotional messages where permitted;
- detect and address fraud, spam, automated abuse, security incidents, prohibited content, and violations of our Terms;

Where required by law, BIGEQ uses personal information to provide services you request, operate and protect the Services without overriding your privacy rights, comply with legal obligations, or with your consent. When BIGEQ relies on your consent, you may withdraw it.
4. How we disclose personal information
Personal information may be disclosed as follows:
- Listings and promotion. BIGEQ displays the listing content you choose to publish. BIGEQ may use horse information, photos, videos, and general location to promote a listing outside BIGEQ. BIGEQ-generated external promotions link back to the listing and do not display the seller contact fields. Registration is required to view those contact details on BIGEQ.
- Contact between users. BIGEQ makes seller contact details available to users who meet BIGEQ's access requirements. When you send a message or inquiry, the intended recipient receives the information and content needed to receive and respond to it.
- Companies that help operate BIGEQ. BIGEQ provides information as needed for services such as hosting, payments, email, notifications, security, error monitoring, and AI-assisted features.
- Features provided by other companies. If you play embedded media, follow an outside link, or use another externally provided feature, that provider may receive information from your interaction under its own privacy notice.
- Legal, fraud, and security matters. BIGEQ may disclose information when required by law or valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect the security of the Services, or protect BIGEQ's legal rights.
- Business changes. Information may be transferred if BIGEQ is sold, merged, reorganized, or transfers relevant business assets.
- At your direction. BIGEQ may disclose information when you ask or consent.
BIGEQ does not sell personal information.
5. Retention and deletion
BIGEQ may retain account information while an account remains open. Other personal information is kept as reasonably needed to operate the Services, maintain transaction and business records, prevent fraud, protect security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
BIGEQ does not use the same retention period for every type of information. When information is no longer needed, BIGEQ may delete it or make it no longer identifiable, subject to legal, security, backup, and technical requirements.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may allow you to ask BIGEQ to access, correct, delete, or provide certain personal information in a usable electronic format, or to stop or limit a particular use. These rights apply only where required by law and may be subject to exceptions.
To make a privacy request, use BIGEQ's Contact Us page (https://www.bigeq.com/contact/). BIGEQ may ask for information needed to verify your identity and will respond as required by applicable law. Where required by law, you may also complain to the relevant privacy regulator.
You can edit available account information and saved payment methods through your account. You can change mobile notification permissions through your device settings.
7. Communications
BIGEQ may send transactional and service communications about accounts, payments, subscriptions, listings, inquiries, security, policy changes, and support. BIGEQ may continue sending messages needed to provide or secure the Services.
Promotional emails include an unsubscribe link or instructions provided through BIGEQ's email service provider. You can use that method to opt out. Even after opting out of promotional email, BIGEQ may continue sending transactional or service communications. You can disable push notifications through your device settings.
8. Security
BIGEQ uses safeguards designed to protect personal information, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure. Use a strong, unique password, protect your account credentials, and contact BIGEQ promptly if you suspect unauthorized activity.
9. International processing
BIGEQ is based in the United States. If you use the Services from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and may also be processed in countries where BIGEQ's service providers operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live.
10. Information from minors
BIGEQ's account and transaction features are intended for adults, as explained in the Terms of Use. Minors may browse public pages only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
A parent or guardian who believes a minor provided personal information through an account or another restricted feature may use BIGEQ's Contact Us page.
11. Changes to this Policy
BIGEQ may update this Policy by posting a revised version with a new "Last updated" date. BIGEQ will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.
BIGEQ may retain prior versions of this Policy and records showing which version a user acknowledged for legal, compliance, and business purposes.
