Whale of a Tale ("Boden") is a jet black 2018, imported Welsh, gelding. 12.2h and the crowd and judge's favorite everywhere he goes, resulting in an impressive show record. Boden carries a beautiful expression, is brave and scopey over fences, walks the lines, has a great lead change, correct conformation and clean legs, and an excellent mover. Boden wins it all - the model, hack, conformation, handy, classic, medals, and is always at the top of the pinning in the derby. Beyond the ring, this pony is always kind with excellent manners and loves to show and live on the road. Minimal to no prep and never needs to see the ring. Barefoot and no maintenance. Boden is qualified for Pony Finals 2026, the USHJA Hunter Derby Championship at Loudon, and has all the points needed to qualify for Devon and indoors.
