"Colton" is a beautiful one owner model who is ready to soar (literally) and make a name for himself in the jumper ring. I have produced and raised this horse from birth. He is sired by "Carrico" who did the 1.60 jumpers in Europe before being imported to the states where he had a successful career in the hunter derbies with an amateur rider. Colton's dam is my personal 1.10 show jumper who has the talent to go higher who boasts Langraf, Mezcalero, and Voltaire bloodlines. I also raised his mother from birth (own daughter of Mezcalero) and she has had a successful jumping career although limited as she is always trying to balance being a mom with having a career :).

"Colton" is big, beautiful, kind, extremely intelligent, respectful and honest. He was started as a four year and has been brought along slowly and correctly. He rides nicely forward and responsive to the aids but not hot. He is the kind of ride that an experienced rider will love and appreciate, but might intimidate an inexperienced rider as he likes a soft steady hand and has a powerful scopey jump. I see this horse best matched with an experienced amateur in a program or young professional looking to make a name for themself or to continue to develop and re-sell him someday for a lot more $$.

He has no bolt, rear, or buck, is very soft in the bridle and needs no spur. Colton has a natural lead change, is light on his feet, and is extremely balanced and rhythmic with a lovely adjustable metronome canter to die for. This horse will eventually jump the moon if that is your desire, or he could play in the lower levels, he just needs his person to get some show miles and then the sky is the limit!

Colton is 100% sound, easy to clip, bathe, trailer, good for vet/farrier, loves attention, lowers his head to be bridled (or to be loved on) and has no vices.

Like all of my horses, this one was raised in the most healthy natural environment possible spending most of his young life living 24/7 in a mixed herd and has been handled regularly since birth and started under saddle a little later than most, when he was physically and mentally ready.
