Sunlight Acres Regina, 16.3 2016 Dutch/Gelders-cross (75%) mare by Alex (imported KWPN) out of a Sandokan (imported KWPN) mare.

Regina (Gigi) is a large-boned scopey mare with exceptional jumping form, elegant presence and superior adjustability; schooling 1.40M jumps and 2nd Level dressage.

Gigi is bold, honest, intelligent, engaging, quiet, steady and forgiving with a willing work ethic - no mare/hormonal issues either. She qualified for 2022 USDF Region 9 championships in her one and only Training Level Test 3 (73%) qualifying test then placed 8th in the Open Division a month later at the Reg 9 finals. The very next weekend she was champion in 3’3” junior jumpers and reserve champion (to Moxie Hit BRB by Alex) at 3-foot junior jumpers. Regina is demonstrating she understands showing expectations and is enjoying showing off - champion at 1M+ open & junior jumpers two shows in a row to end the 2022 season.

Regina will easily go 1.40M+ A/O/Jr jumpers and equitation. She is perfect for the talented young rider moving up levels with an eye on international competition. Super level-headed and forgiving with no fuss.

The mature competitor will appreciate Regina's intelligence, boldness and versatility. Gigi's jump is smooth and round, her gaits score "8s", transitions are immediate and her personality is engaging and willing. Regina enjoys trails and drives as well. For the mature rider, Gigi is a life-long partner that does it all!

Gigi is physically capable of progressing up the levels in dressage, however she LOVES to jump - She loves her job. She is showing 3’6" junior equitation and jr/children's jumpers - always in the ribbons and a “point-and-shoot” jumper. She schools, shows on the flat and jumps in any simple snaffle with no martingale. Regina is schooling lead changes and is 90%+ auto jumping courses.

Regina is very reasonably priced due to her limited rated show experience but will increase as she gains more miles and points. Gigi is ready to be your step-up-in-class A+ level competition horse and a great candidate for international young horse (7 yo in 2023) and/or young rider championship campaigns.

Clean X-rays available taken Aug 2022 - Regina is sound and has no vices. I am a breeder, own her sire and purchased her as marketing for Alex (2005 imported KWPN) and a sale prospect. She is your ready-to-go Jr/AO international Dutch-bred jumper partner at a baby-green import price.

Her sire is Alex imported KWPN (85% Gelders) out of a Sandokan (90% Gelders) KWPN mare. Regina is registered American Harness Horse but is eligible for registration with KWPN-NA. Her sire Alex has multiple high-level sport-horse progeny including Fisher’s Gambler FEI Grand Prix dressage stallion. Regina is a ¾-sister to Fisher’s Gambler and her 2017 1/2-sister by Alex, Moxie Hit BRB is successfully showing 3'3" junior jumpers and Training Level Dressage in junior division.
