Photo Op

2017, 15.3 hand, Oldenburg Mare - Jumper

3-year old top level prospect for sale. Photo Op (barn name Giselle) is a flashy, athletic, beautiful filly by Prototype (Paelestro van de Beginakker) out of A Little Romancze (Alla Czar). She is registered with Oldenburg NA and in 2018 was 3rd in the yearling class at the YHS in Missouri, qualifying for finals with an overall score of 8.0. At the 2019 YHS, Giselle showed great form over fences in the 2yo free jump, where she was 2nd out of 12 and qualified for finals. The judges remarks were "scopey and very athletic." She received high scores for her willingness, scope and hind end. She also qualified for finals in the in hand/at liberty class with a 3rd place out of 12. Currently 15.3 and growing. Both parents are 16.3+. Lifetime registered with USEF and microchipped. Asking $20,000, but special consideration will go to a show home who will develop her patiently and correctly. Price will also increase with training. We plan on taking her to the YHS in Tryon, NC in November of 2020.

Giselle would be a wonderful option for anyone looking for a top horse on a budget. A professional or an amateur with a good training program so she can realize her potential is ideal. She would excel in any discipline, especially the jumpers. She is currently located in Columbus, Ohio, where she is handled daily. She can walk, trot and canter on the lunge line and will be backed under saddle this winter. She is UTD on vaccines and worming, loads and stands for the farrier and has been off the farm for the YHS series. Updated video available on request.

Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Giselle is also eligible to compete at the Royal Winter Agricultural Fair and in Cup classes.

Prototype is by Palestro Van De Bejanakker an international jumper by Quidam De Revel. Quidam de Revel was among the best performers of his generation and in 2004 topped the World Breeding Championships Jumping Stallion ratings for the second year running. Quidam’s pre-eminence as a sire was confirmed at the 2002 WEG in Jerez where he was the sire of more show jumping participants than any other stallion. At the London 2012 Olympics, there were 11 descendants of Quidam competing. Prototype’s dam also competed in the international jumper ring. She is by Corofino, one of the rare stallions to have received a score of 10 for his jump at the Holstein 100 day test. He was a finalist at four years old and a winner up to M class in Germany, before he was exported to Italy, where he had a brilliant International career under the saddle of Valerio Sozzi. Between the ages of 8 and 16, he created a super record of international achievements with the Italian rider.

Prototype is a 16.3h imported performance stallion. He is brave and steady with a lovely rhythmical canter. He has a fabulous work ethic and is a pleasure to ride. He is shown successfully in the hunter ring by his amateur owner. Prototype also competed in the working hunters at WEF and Hunter Derbies in Canada and the United States, taking the high options with ease.

Prototype has proven to be a very athletic and versatile horse. He has given to his offspring a hunter type, hack winning trot, beautiful canters and a 10 jumping technique with high even knees and a correct bascule. He passes on his amateur friendly and easy going temperament. His eldest offspring is currently showing in DIVISION in Florida, and his 2016 son qualified for the RAWF and shows excellent jumping form. Giselle's older full sister was recently started under saddle.

Giselle's dam, A Little Romancze (Zoey) is by Alla C'zar out of a Schoenfeld mare and was a premium foal and premium mare with Oldenburg NA and RPSI (Westphaelen) where she was the second highest and third highest scoring mare, respectively, in North America for her inspection tour. She has two stars with Oldenburg NA for conformation and performance *//* and is well on her way to earning her third and final star for producing premium offspring. Zoey competed in the 3' and 3'3" Pre Greens, National Hunter Derbies and the Adult Amateurs.

This is a great opportunity to make a top horse from scratch!
