grey gelding - American Thoroughbred - Hunter
17.1H (+) dapple gray 7 y.o. TB gelding. 10 mover, brave to jumps without dragging or getting quick. Never hot - a push ride. You'll need spurs or a good leg. Very nice mouth, goes in a rubber snaffle. Comfortable, naturally rhythmic canter - easy to find distances on. No fussing upon landing to 'get him back', no finessing necessary in corners. He just stays in rhythm the whole ride with the lightest snaffle. Very athletic, plenty of jump for 3'6" easily with scope for more. Strong foundation in flatwork well beyond just walk/trot/cantering. Easily transitions downward with your seat. Solid lead change. Extremely supple and soft to ride. This horse was started right, brought along carefully and correctly and was not jumped over anything over 2' until his 6 y.o. year. Showing locally. No longeing necessary prior to competition. No need to school the course prior. After a few warm up jumps in the schooling area, he will just walk in and jump around over well-decorated A-show quality jumps. Eligible everything. Top ribbons every time out.
