MUST SELL!!! Sam has competed in the jumpers up to 3'6" with great success (including USEF Pony Finals and Pony Club Championships) and is an incredible teacher and confidence builder for young riders. He has impeccable form over fences, and a wonderful stride. He is athletic and forward when you need him to be, but not hot, silly, or spooky. Super handy in a jump off. If you can sit up and look for your next fence he will get you there in style. He recently introduced a small 8 year old rider to the jumper ring, completely packing her around and bringing home top ribbons in large classes (against much older and experienced riders on horses). He also has eventing experience and is great to ride in the open. Keeps a wonderful rhythm to the fences and always knows where his feet are cross country. He has solid dressage training, knows his lateral work, and is a good mover. His twelve year old rider just rode him for her first medal class and ended up 3rd out of 12 riders. He was the only pony, and they were riding against older teenagers and adults with lots of experience. The judge loved him and commented that he is worth his weight in gold! He also does all the other things a great pony should do: trail rides, swims rivers, rides bareback and double, likes to play games (his favorite is push polo with a beach ball), etc. Very sound and healthy with LOTS of great years ahead of him.
