Super brave and no spook, Skip a Beat (Skippy) is the sweetest 6 yo dapple grey mare. Enchanting with her beautiful almond eyes, she is very easy to handle, willing to learn, with an uncomplicated attitude. Her sweet and gentle personnality makes her a great partner for anyone.
From Society's Chairman (known to pass on great temperament), Skippy is built like a Warmblood, has never raced and is currently in a snaffle, barefoot and ridden by a junior. Skip a Beat showed at WEF 2024 (Wellington FL) in the 90 cm and finished in the 1 m tb division. She also competed in rated shows in Quebec and Nova Scotia in 2023 in short stirrups and low hunter classes and got her share of ribbons. She was used in a day camp last year and is as close to bomb proof at it can be. She is excellent to the farrier, clipper, trailer, shower, in trails, etc. She is also well socialized and get along with most horses.
She was inspected in September 2023 and was approved in the Westfalen mare book I (main book), so you could also select her as a broodmare for your next foal! Due to no fault of her own, she is offered for sale in the low fives and we hope to find the great family she deserves. She has truly a mind of gold! She is currenly located in eastern Quebec, Canada but transport can be arranged anywhere in North America for the perfect family.
