Artistic Surprise is a super dependable 13 year old, 14.1 HH large pony hunter with successful mileage on the local and A Circuits. He is safe and 100% honest to any fence from any spot. Charlie has a huge stride and walks the lines with a beautiful, easy canter. He holds a great rhythm, has a lovely trot and always gets a piece of the hack.
In 2023, he took his kid to Pony Finals in the Large Greens and USEF Pony Medal. He jumped around, cool as a cucumber, in the intimidating Rolex and Alltech arenas (his first time ever indoors!) He qualified for Pony Finals (and pony medal finals) his first time out at the Aiken Horse Park. Charlie has acquired tricolors at TIEC and was 3rd out of 65 in the BRHJA derby there his first time in the Tryon Stadium.
Charlie has a wonderful personality around the barn, is great on trails, requires no prep or maintenance, and will be the perfect partner to help his next kid achieve their goals! Located near Tryon, NC.
